Incident Tracking Application by Silicus is an iPad mobile app for use by engineers to track and report field operation incidents in the oil and gas process industries. This Incident Tracking Application is used by engineers who service machinery and products used in Oil & Gas industry processes such as pressure control systems, drilling rigs, separation and processing equipment, flow control, and compression systems. The app provides a fast and reliable way to track any failures in the form of recorded incidents and report incidents occurring on the site. App users can report failure incidents, identify hazards, and record defects and complaints in the field and submit the data to company servers using their mobile device as well as share incident reports via email. The application is helpful for reducing paperwork and allowing more time to focus on preventive measures and corrective actions.

Application Features - The key capabilities of the application include creating incidents, viewing incidents, saving an incident report in draft mode, and sharing incident reports via email. Incidents can be logged, processed, managed and monitored at every step in the lifecycle. The Incident Tracking software makes it easy to create and search open or closed incident files. Registered users can view, create and report incidents as well as view incident histories and update documents while in the field. Engineers can download the master data from the server to view complete project, service and incident history as and when required. The app comes with a user management system with password retrieval functionality for user account registration and login.

Reporting an Incident feature captures information seven screens sequentially to fill the incident reporting process. Comprehensive incident details are captured starting with the critical incident severity rating followed by Customer, Faculty/Rig details, Project and Incident Date and Time pertaining to the incident. Further details required to complete the incident report are the assembly details, defect particulars, specifics of the failure and any service history of the concerned parts and machinery, and finally the application can also add and save photos as part of an incident report. Incident Reports can be viewed, edited, deleted and share via email by the application user. Engineers can choose to save the report in draft mode for later viewing and submit the incident report when finished to be uploaded and synced on the company server.
